Titles
A title is a word or phrase placed before or after a person's name, usually used to identify features about that person. Four generic titles are in use across the Imperial States, as well as many specialised titles.
Generic Titles

| Mssr. or Mosser | Unmarried men |
| Mrs. or Missus | Married women |
| Miss | Unmarried women |
Under the pride system, men use the title of mister only when they belong to a particular pride beside their birth pride, and women use the title of missus once they reach adulthood.
Specialised Titles
Doctor or Dr. is a title used to denote senior scholars, be they researchers or educators. Within the Empyrean Academy, someone may takae on the title of Doctor once they have passed their field studies.
